Why sponsor an ocean-going rowing boat with a mixed team of five people rowing 3000 miles across the Atlantic?
Our team members are from the North West and we row in the sea off the coast off North Wales, and on both Trentham and Rudyard Lakes. In December 2027 to January 2028 we will be rowing from La Gomera near Tenerife to Antigua in the Caribbean. Your support will enable our crew of 5 to attempt a new world record as the oldest mixed crew of 5 to row the Atlantic.
Our mission is to support and promote health, fitness, and bold new challenges for the over-50s and beyond. This Atlantic row isn’t just an ocean-crossing—it’s a powerful statement that life after 50 is full of potential, adventure, and strength. Through this extraordinary challenge, we aim to break stereotypes, spark conversations, and inspire a generation to embrace active, purposeful living. You would also be supporting the local charities that each crew member has chosen: East Cheshire Hospice and Men Unite - a men’s mental health charity.

Sponsorship Packages
There are 7 different sponsorship packages available. With options ranging from branding on the boat, on our kit and exclusive social media events before, during and after the race. Please feel free to chat to us for something more tailored and appropriate to your needs.
Sponsor an Oar £5000
- Your company name or logo will be displayed on the handle and blade of the oar. This location will feature prominently in the majority of our social media post whilst we are rowing.
- The Oar will be presented to your cmpany for display at your premises post-race.
- Website - Your company to be featured on the sponsors page of our website.
- Race photography access
- Your company given access to all post-race photography, video and press releases for marketing purposes.
Other Donations
Rowing Experience
We plan to hold monthly rowing experiences once we have purchased the boat where donors will have the opportunity to experience what it is like on the boat in the sea.
Name on the Boat plus Message £100
A section of the hull will be printed with the donors name and a short inspirational message.
Name on the Boat £50
A section of the hull will be printed with the Team Name. The Team name will be made up of the donors names (a name within a name) rather like the RNLI.
Donations £10+
At all events we will be taking donations via donation stations (such as GoodBox) and cash.
Why We Need Your Sponsorship And Donations
Getting to the start line
For this mission to be realised, we will need to fund a boat, shipping, technical equipment, on-shore support, food and other operational costs.
The boat will be sold after the race and recouped funds will be donated to our charities.
Generous product donations and discounts will significantly help to reduce some of these costs.
The following pages and the additional Race Report provide details on the potential benefits available to sponsors / partners and the level of media exposure & content available, based on last year’s event figures.
The Charities
We aim to raise £250,000 to be distributed between our chosen charities. We will be asking the public to sponsor us for each mile we row.
